About Dr. José Gabriel Ripoll Jaramillo

I trained as a plastic surgeon in Brazil at Dr. Ivo Pitanguy's clinic, where I learned a great deal about the profession. I spent three years honing my specialty there, with an emphasis on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. My thesis focused on congenital and acquired defects of the auricle (ear).

In my career, I have illustrated various articles and books on plastic surgery, both in Dr. Ivo Pitanguy's clinic and in the book published by Dr. León Hernández on plastic surgery. Within the national context (Colombia), it is worth mentioning that I was a co-founder of the Quirófanos y Especialistas Clinic in Medellín, where I operated for about thirty years. I have also had the experience of operating in other local institutions (Medellín) such as the IQ Quirófanos Clinic, SOMA Clinic, Interquirófanos, Las Vegas Clinic, Cardiovascular Clinic, and Pablo Tobón Hospital.

On a personal level, I am passionate about art and music, which has been a fundamental component for my development as a plastic surgeon, a profession in which I now have over thirty years of experience. My goal is always to provide the best service in order to satisfy patients.
